ABOUT US
WHO IS STRIKE?
STRIKE is the first FRC team in Paraná that represents Brazil in national and international competitions with the aim of innovating and bringing the world of technology to teenagers.
OUR STORY
STRIKE was founded in 2017, when founder Pamela Vieira arrived in Foz de Iguaçu and discovered that the city did not have a robotics community. With the desire to share the opportunities that this world offers, Pamela joined forces with Aidtec and Colégio Bertoni, brought together a group of students from the Middle School, starting projects and training to join FIRST - the world's largest robotics community.
During our journey, we encountered several challenges, mainly in the lack of tools, professional space, and mentors due to the lack of incentive in STEAM for young audiences in the city. However, such obstacles motivated us to think and act more outside the box , being more creative when building robots with minimal resources. Through this determination, we conquered several international positions and generated impacts such as encouraging youth protagonism in the technological world. With that, we built trust with Colégio Bertoni, acquiring, in 2022, a MakerLab with complete engineering equipment, structured spaces for each area, and qualified parts for robot construction.

squads
To make the work more effective, STRIKE is divided into small squads, as in the Scrum method. Each of them has projects to carry out in defined periods, known as sprints - a short period of time to complete a defined amount of work. Furthermore, this organization not only allows each member to acquire their role and voice in the team, but also moves ideas forward, allowing experiences and learning.
Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
It uses different materials and tools to build the robot, with teamwork as a fundamental aspect.
Electrical engineering
Area responsible for connecting the mechanical part of the robot to the programming part, like a messenger.
Events
Area related to the organization of STRIKE events and the team's publicity and social media administration.
Financial
Part responsible for looking for sponsorships, raising money and recruiting young people with innovative minds and high potential. Additionally, it acts as a base for acquiring the materials and tools needed to build the robot.
Design 3D
Area responsible for the 3D development of the robot, designing it and the parts that need to be printed on the 3D printer.
